Description As part of AIRTEC Motorsport’s expanding Toyota range, this front mount intercooler upgrade for the Yaris GR is designed to improve cooling efficiency and performance for fast road and track use. The larger stepped-core design maximises the limited space behind the bumper, offering a significant increase in cooling capacity and airflow compared to the original intercooler. The core steps from 110mm to 70mm, providing a 64% increase in overall capacity and a 30% increase in frontal area over standard, helping to reduce intake temperatures and improve engine performance under demanding conditions. The intercooler retains a 50mm inlet to minimise turbo lag while increasing the outlet to 60mm for improved airflow and reduced restriction. High-flow moulded one-piece cast end tanks and an internal air diverter ensure efficient airflow and improved cooling performance over the OEM unit. Despite the larger design, the intercooler fits neatly behind the original bumper without cutting or trimming and can be returned to standard if required. The comprehensive kit includes all fixtures and fittings, step-by-step installation instructions, and Pro Hoses silicone connectors.
