Description The MMR Performance Twin Charge Coolers for the S63-powered BMW M5 and M6 F1X are engineered to significantly improve power and torque output by substantially reducing charge air temperatures during hard driving and high-performance use. The factory charge coolers often struggle to cope with increased power levels, leading to rising intake temperatures and performance loss. MMR’s upgraded charge coolers feature a large tube-and-fin stepped core design that delivers double the cooling area and approximately 28% larger core size per cooler compared to OEM. This advanced design helps consistently reduce intake air temperatures, minimise heat soak, and maintain stable performance without added turbo lag. The core uses internal turbulators to enhance cooling efficiency, while CFD-optimised cast end tanks ensure smooth airflow across the core.
