The Prophet ﷺ is so blessed and virtuous that anything and everything connected to him also becomes blessed and virtuous. The stronger the connection the greater the virtues and blessings, and who can have a stronger connection than those of his ﷺ household and family who follow in his footsteps. The Prophet’s ﷺ Ahl ul Bayt (Household) have many virtues, and these have been described in both the Quran and ahadith and recognition of them has been declared a part of our faith. Mufti Ghulam Sarwar Qaadri (1939 – 2010) was a famous and renowned Pakistani scholar and a leading teacher and thinker. His debates with non Muslims and misguided sects are legendary, especially against the Qadiyaanis in South Africa in the 1980s. However, he was not just a master of the extrinsic sciences, but was also a master of the spiritual sciences too.
