MXR TBM1 Tom Morello Power 50 Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal W/Cables Gives authentic amp tones with MOSFET technology Full range of controls from Tom Morellos own amp, including Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Volume and Presence Recreates his amps FX loop effect for unique signal chain character Run a cable from your guitar to the TBM1s INPUT jack and run another cable from the TBM1s OUTPUT jack to your amplifier. If using the effects loop, run a cable from the TBM1s SEND jack to the input of the first pedal in your loop. Run another cable from the output of the last pedal in your loop to the TBM1s RETURN jack. Note: effects loop signal is only active while TBM1 is engaged. Start with all controls at 12 o’clock. Turn the effect on by depressing the EFFECT footswitch. Rotate VOLUME knob clockwise to increase effect volume or counterclockwise to decrease it. Rotate BASS knob clockwise to boost low end frequencies of pre-effects loop signal or counterclockwise to cut them. Rotate MID knob clockwise to boost midrange frequencies of pre-effects loop signal or counterclockwise to cut them. Rotate TREBLE knob clockwise to boost high end frequencies of pre-effects loop signal or counterclockwise to cut them. Rotate GAIN knob clockwise to increase intensity of overdrive or counterclockwise. Rotate the PRESENCE knob clockwise to boost overall high-end frequencies or counterclockwise to cut them. 10. If you have the TBM95 Cry Baby Tom Morello Wah, place it into the FX loop to recreate Toms tonally balanced and aggressive vocal Wah sweeps. Placing the TBM95 before the TBM1 will produce a subtle Wah effect, while placing the TBM95 after the TBM1 will create a treble-focused toe-down Wah response.
