Thanks to other reviewers, who said that these are hard to apply. I got one out of the bag, and it was super hard to put onto a dishwasher prong, and I couldn’t do it. Then I remembered that peanut butter is the best de-sticky-er, and can even get gum out of hair. So I opened up my jar of natural peanut butter (the kind that only has peanuts, so the oil is always going to the top), and dipped a Q-tip in the peanut oil. Then I applied the oil to the tip of each prong. Then it was super easy to get these end protectors onto the dishwasher prongs. It helped, to push them down forcefully and quickly — and often a tiny bubble of air would then snap out.Thank you to the people who pointed out that most dishwashers have more than 100 prongs. I counted, and mine has 107. I decided to buy just one pack of 100, and I strategically skipped the 7 prongs (the ones around my eating utensil compartment) that never touch my dishes. If I hadn’t known about, and planned for the shortage — I would have had to pull off the low-use prong end protectors, to apply them to the high-use prongs — and these are almost impossible to pull off.One reviewer said that these didn’t stay on during a wash cycle — so I waited to make this review until after a few wash cycles. They all stuck beautifully. I am so happy!
