San Juan Earth Worm – Beadhead

The San Juan Earth Worm is one of the best trout flies no matter where you’re headed. The classic San Juan Worm will work everywhere but this one goes the extra mile and adds a bead head for getting the fly in front of trout when the unweighted version doesn?t work. Letting these fishing flies swing through ripples and seams of the water is a great strategy. Trout often will chase these flies and hit them hard. San Juan Worms are essential, and having a bead head version of any sub-surface fly is critical to catching more fish.
