Blue Poison Tongue Bead Midge

The Blue Poison Tongue Bead Midge is an excellent and attractive fly fishing nymph pattern. Similar to the famous Mercury Midge, the Blue Poison Tongue is a small midge that deserves a spot in any multiple nymph rig, especially during the winter when these flies are often the only thing trout will take. Where it differs is in how flashy this one is. Tying it above a more subtle midge as the attractor can catch fish year round, especially in heavily targeted areas.
