The result is a cooler interior with less road noise. DEI Floor and Tunnel Shields II add a new dimension to heat control with minimal clearance needed–only 3/16 in.! Constructed utilizing an embossed aluminum face bonded to composite fiberglass insulation and backed with an aggressive adhesive that holds past 450 degrees F, these barrier sheets are capable of handling direct temperatures up to 1,750 degrees F. The shields are tough enough for under-vehicle applications. They’re also great as a sound barrier, blocking out up to 50 percent of unwanted road noise.
