K&K 12-StringThe Pure 12-String is a passive system for 12-string guitar, with three pickup heads and an endpin jack. It is a transducer system only and does not include a battery or on-board electronics. Don't be fooled by the sound of some competitors' "thin sounding" passive systems--the Pure is definitely different. They sound full and rich and have sufficient output to drive most amps and PA systems directly!The Pure 12-String's larger pickup heads produce an extra strong bass response and pronounced midrange. While this bass and midrange response is too strong for many guitars, especially very resonant ones, it sounds great in 12-string guitars and is a good alternative for guitars with heavy spruce tops and maple bridge plates.The Pure 12-String can be installed with our removable "on tape" mounting system. Stick the tape to the bridge plate first and superglue the pickups to the special polyester tape (supplied). If you want to remove the system simply pull off the tape with the pickup discs on it.Because the pickup heads are quite large, please check the bridge plate size of your guitar before you order.
